Body in Finland and in
Sweden Grexel Systems Ltd. is the issuing body for EECS (European Energy Cerificate System) certificates in Finland and Sweden after national transmission systems operators, Fingrid and Svenska Kraftnät, withdrew from issuing in March 2006. Swedish certificate management system, Cesar The Swedish national certificate scheme, effective from January 2003, separates the actual physical delivery of the electricity from a certificate, which ensures that the electricity has been produced using a renewable source. Grexel provided the national electricity grid operator Svenska Kraftnät and the Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten) with the certificate management system, Cesar. RECS certificate management system Grexel has provided Austria, Norway, Denmark and Slovenia with a RECS certificate management system, which is used for voluntary renewable energy certificate trading. |
