On January the 23rd, the second release of NECS went live, enabling the world's first certificate based joint support scheme. NECS is the Norwegian central registry for tradable guarantees of origin and support certificates, and it is based on the Grexel Certification Framework, GCF - the technology platform already in use in Grexel's registries in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg and Sweden. Elcertificate support certificates common to Norway and Sweden can now be handled in the system, including importing and exporting the certificates between Norwegian and Swedish accounts. In addition to market statistics of Elcertificates issued in Norway, the new release also includes common market reports for Norway and Sweden.
