Issuing body services

Grexel’s operation model and the issuing process is based on Guarantee of Origin as defined in the EU RES-E directive and national legislations. This unique concept enables a cost effective implementation of a high quality green certificate trading scheme.

 Grexel’s responsibilities as the EECS Issuing Body:

• accreditation and registration of RES-E facilities

• issue, transfer and redemption of certificates

• operation of the registry and administration of the accounts of system participants

• verification and monitoring of the system.
